From interviewing Louis Hayes to Steve Gadd, Phil Collins to Sheila E, Mark Guiliana to JoJo Mayer — LA-based drummer and composer Joe Wong has co-created an incredible podcast focused on “the lives of drummers.” And now, after 140 episodes, he’s bringing The Trapset podcast to the Twin Cities for the first time.
This live event will feature Joe interviewing a panel of Twin Cities drumming greats: Eric Kamau Grávátt (Weather Report, McCoy Tyner, etc.); Lori Barbero (Babes in Toyland); Gordy Knudtson (Steve Miller Band); and Todd Trainer (Shellac) about their lives and careers.
